The Readers:
Annalise Mabe is a writer from Tampa, Florida. Her nonfiction, poetry, and comics have appeared in Brevity, The Boiler, Columbia Journal, New Delta Review, The Offing, The Rumpus, BOOTH, Word Riot, Hobart, and more. She was a finalist for the december Curt Johnson Prose Award judged by Eula Biss, and currently serves as a nonfiction editor for Sweet: A Literary Confection. @AnnaliseMabe annalisemabe.com
Ryan Cheng received his MFA in poetry from the University of South Florida. He was awarded the 2013 AWP Intro Journal Entry Award for poetry and the Bettye Newman Poetry Award in 2013. His poetry has appeared in Quarterly West, The Ignatian Literary Magazine, and elsewhere. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida where he teaches professional writing at the University of South Florida and serves as a board member of YellowJacket Press and Poetry Editor for Sweet: A Literary Confection.
Riley Passmore is a speculative fiction and creative non-fiction writer hailing from the American southeast. He graduated from the University of South Florida’s MFA in Creative Writing program in the spring of 2015, and his creative non-fiction has been recently anthologized in Dinty W. Moore’s Bodies of Truth: Personal Narratives on Illness, Disability, and Medicine, forthcoming in 2019. His fiction has appeared in Five on the Fifth.
