I have lived in Tampa for quite some time now and it took a while before I went to Pipo's. Now though, it is one of my go to spots for some homemade Cuban food. I was not as impressed with their breakfast on my last visit but their lunches have been more than expected. They even provide some free cuban bread to snack on while you wait for your order. If you haven't been, I recommend checking them out.
Pros: Fast service, friendly staff and good food. Good option when craving some Cuban food in Tampa.
Cons: Breakfast seemed a little pricier than other options.

Pipo's has been around for over 30 years, so they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to Cuban food. Not the best I've tasted in Tampa, but definitely satisfactory if you're looking for some authentic cuisine.
Pros: Great, quick-serve Cuban food. Sandwiches, roast pork, black beans, plantains, the works.
Cons: Parking was a little tough during their crowded lunch hour.

Reasonable eats but doesn't compare to Carmine's in Ybor City.
Cons: The roast pork is always way too salty. Salt is the only flavor.

Best breakfast cuban!! And best cuban.
