For nine seasons you’ve watched Barney, Ted, Robin, Marshall and Lilly of the popular TV comedy, “How I Met Your Mother,” gather in McLarens Bar and Puzzles. What could be more appropriate than joining them for a final round in a bar as this popular comedy airs its hour-long final episode Monday, March 31?
Suit up for this awesome event (ducky ties are optional) and get ready to enjoy some memorable sips and awesome snacks from Pelagia Trattoria. It’s going to be a LEGEN - wait for it - DARY evening. In addition to cheering to - and cheering on - your favorite characters, there will a chance to test your knowledge about famous scenes, sayings and celebrities who have guest starred over the years.
Gabriella’s will be filled with signature items from the show (look for the pineapples) and have extra TVs on hand when it hosts a viewing party for the series finale that airs at 8 p.m. on CBS.
Gabriella’s is located in the lobby level of the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel. Seating is limited. The fun begins at 7 p.m.
Featured dishes are priced from $5 and include what the HIMYM cast likes to call mini-burgers, also known as sliders. Pelagia’s signature sliders feature braised short ribs, crab cakes and ahi tuna.
