Join the Clans and Krewes of Tampa Bay for an enchanting evening of dinner, dancing, entertainment, and raffles.
Event Details
The evening begins with Hors d'oeuvres and entertainment, to include The Highlanders Pipe and Drum Unit and additional entertainment. After dinner we will dance the night away with an open bar and announcements of all winners of the raffles.
Traditionally, this Ball is a fund raiser for the hosting group(s). It is the only fundraiser for the Highlanders. The funds the Highlanders raise here will allow them to continue to serve our community with beautiful Celtic traditional music. Each member is also a member of the Tampa Shriner's Organization and we take great pride and are honored to have them continue the tradition of performing at the Tartan Ball and presenting the Haggis.
As it is the 12 year anniversary the Clans are preparing even earlier to do something SPECIAL. I hope everyone will enjoy what is in store for them and we hope to make more improvements to continue to make this a celebration that everyone will want to attend.
You will find many gentlemen wearing kilts, but it is not a requirement. Our ladies will be wearing anything from a cocktail dress to an evening gown. Tartans are encouraged to show your pride, but as we say in Tampa Bay, anything goes. We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed and wish you all Céad Míle Fáilte (Many Thousand Welcomes).
