The Bricks of Ybor is hosting Star Wars Week with a series of awesome, Star Wars-related events and more from April 28 through May 4.
The week will kick off with the I'd Rather Kiss a Wookie Art Show at The Bricks on Saturday, April 28. Hosted by Tampa art promotors, Kick Start My Art, the show will feature Star Wars-inspired art pieces from over 30 Florida artists, live music from DJ OP 1, and Star Wars themed food and drinks from The Bricks. Some of this includes a Death Star Burger, Outer Rim Pork Melt, and something called The Kinky Leia. The show starts at 8 p.m.
On Tuesday, May 1, The Bricks will host a watch party for the first Star Wars film, Episode IV: A New Hope kicking off at 10 p.m. The watch party will have drink specials and the Star Wars-themed menu on hand.
Star Wars Week will culminate on Friday, May 4 with an aptly-titled May the Fourth Be with You party presented by Drunk Camera Guy. The party will kick off at 10 p.m. and feature DJ Cub on the ones and twos, a Star Wars costume contest, and more.
The Bricks will serve the special Star Wars menu all throughout the week and offer a number of drink specials as well.
