The Inaugural Loafing in the Park Concert Series is taking place on Saturday, May 12 at Centennial Park in historic Ybor City.
This FREE and family-friendly concert series will bring together the best of live music from Tampa and beyond, local food vendors, craft beer breweries, speciality wines, and artists selling hand-crafted goods for an evening of entertainment and fun in the park.
Beginning at 5 p.m., the Inaugural Loafing in the Park Concert will host live entertainment from a handful of local artists. They include:
The Bella Danza Dance Crew (dance, fashion)
The Mud Flappers (folk, jazz, roots)
The Vodkanauts (rock n' roll, surf, lounge)
The Groves (alternative, folk rock)
The Mojo Gurus (rock n' roll)
In addition, Loafing in the Park will host a special, free-to-attend Heatwave Stage at Centro Ybor beginning at 3:30 p.m. Artists performing on the Heatwave Stage include St. Petersburg singer-songwriter John Allen, the sweet melodies of Katie Grace Helow, acoustic rock from Ian and Evan, Danny Freeman's acoustic song stylings, and gypsy jazz from The Cook Trio.
Loafing in the Park will host an assortment of food/drink from local vendors, beer from Cigar City Brewing and PBR, specialty wines, and local artists selling everything from hand-crafted jewelry to clothing, ceramics, soaps, and more.
