A festival celebration all things Cuban sandwich. Head out and watch as they try to craft the worlds largest Cuban sandwich, dine on Cubans from local restaurants, and more.

Taste of the Cuban Sandwich is going down on Saturday, August 18 at the Cuban Club in Ybor City.
Head out to this free celebration of everything Cuban sandwich and watch as Tampa tries to beat out Miami for making the world's largest Cuban sandwich. Top Tampa Cuban sandwich restaurants like Michelle Faedo's On The Go, The Stone Soup Cafe, and Gaspar's Grotto will also be on hand selling samples of their famous Cuban sandwiches.
In addition to all the great food that will be on hand at Taste of the Cuban Sandwich, there will also be live, cultural music and dance performances, a kids zone, an antique car show, cigar area, old-fashioned barber, and a domino tournament.
Admission to Taste of the Cuban Sandwich is free, but officials encourage guests to visit the community help booth which will be collection donations for Emberlynn Padilla, an 8-month old baby from the community suffering from a fatal, but treatable congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
