What better way to bring in the holidays than with some snow?! (Yes, SNOW! In Florida!)
Ybor Collaborative is hosting its 7th Annual Snow on 7th Parade on December 9th, and is sure to continue its tradition as a fun and festive event for all ages.
The pre-show will begin at 6PM and feature the talent of local children’s dance groups. The Tampa Bay Pride Band will sound off the parade at 7 p.m. with Mayor Bob Buckhorn in the lead and snow drifting the skies of 7th Ave! Nineteen Hillsborough County Public Schools marching bands will continue the holiday sounds throughout the parade, and local dance teams and krewes will be there too! Special guests Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there to signal the finale of the parade at 9 p.m.
The Snow on 7th Holiday Parade is part of Historic Holiday Spirit and has become one of the Bay Area’s premier holiday events. You won’t want to miss it!
So bring your family to come meet Santa and enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and fun at the FREE event.
There's lots of other holiday things happening in Ybor that day too: GameTime Tampa is getting in the spirit by bringing a video game legend... as Santa Sonic is Coming to Town! From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the kids can have their picture taken with Santa Sonic, as well as receive a free gift from Tampa's best arcade. For the adults looking for some Stoli with their snow, check out Downtown Crawlers Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl and Street Parade, which kicks off at 5 p.m. at Gaspar's Grotto.
