Mark your calendars! The Brass Tap in Ybor City has a lot of fun events lined up for you in February. Ballast Point is the Beer of the Month, and their fruit-infused drafts Mango Even Keel, Grapefruit Sculpin, and Watermelon Dorado are on tap; special tappings include Peppermint Victory at Sea and Coconut Victory at Sea. Gasparilla fun continues at The Brass Tap with the 2017 Krewe of Sant’Yago Knight Parade. On February 11th at 7:00 PM, Sant’Yago’s pirate krewe will take to the streets of historic Ybor City with decked out floats, bright lights, and, of course, colorful beads! The party lasts all night, so swing by The Brass Tap to watch the parade and try their pirate-themed cocktails like Gaspar’s Punch or the Dark N’ Stormy. Single or not, come out to The Brass Tap for a fun night of Valentine's Day BINGO! at 8:00 PM! Nothing says “I love you” more than tacos, so tacos will be $2 all day. The Brass Tap will also show some love to our military as they have teamed up with Big Bay Beer Fest and Healing Heroes to give away Big Bay Beer Fest tickets to the first 10 guests with a military ID. The Brass Tap kicks off Mardi Gras on February 24th with live music at 9:00 PM and tons of green, purple, and yellow beads. On Fat Tuesday, the 28th, come back for beer, prizes, and fun while playing Fat Tuesday Beer BINGO! Meanwhile, the Rooster Funeral Pub Crawl will be coming through The Brass Tap as bar hoppers pay homage to Jack, the deceased rooster of Ybor’s Tommy Stephens. The mock funeral in 1997 has grown into a yearly tradition with growing numbers. Since it will be the last day of the month, select Ballast Point beers will be $4.50.

Open Mic starts up again on the 12th, and it will be on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Have fun expressing yourself while reading poetry, singing, dancing, or doing a bit of stand-up comedy!
Speaking of creativity, hone your art skills at The Brass Tap on Paint Night on the 15th with Teri from The Creative Life Project, a local artists’ agency. Create an original work of art while sipping on your favorite beer or cocktail- your first drink is free!
Celebrate President’s Day and the 70th Annual Fiesta Day your way at The Brass Tap with a selection of 60-80 craft beers on tap and more than 300 bottled imports, domestics, and local craft beers.
