Pop the Bubbly! Don Me Now Champagne Bar and Boutique Moves to Channelside!

Pop the bubbly! Just when you thought Downtown Tampa couldn't get any cooler, enter Don Me Now. Formerly located in Hyde Park Village, this trendy boutique is making its debut in the Fitzgerald building in Tampa's Channelside District and adding a champagne bar. On February 24th Don Me Now hosted its grand opening, with the bubbles popping as much as the party. Shoppers sipped and selfied their way through the store and experienced something completely new to the neighborhood. 

When Don Me Now first opened five years ago, owner Danielle Evans focused on styling clients in a one-on-one personal experience. Soon after they opened, Don Me Now became one of Hyde Park Village's go-to spots for private styling parties, networking events, and girls' night out celebrations. After hosting party after party, Evans noticed that clients loved to drink champagne while shopping, and she found they spent more time inside the boutique shopping while enjoying happy hour with friends at the same time.

"We knew we were onto something and wanted to merge the shopping side of things with the popping side of things," says Evans. "Overall, we're thrilled to offer an experience you can't get anywhere else."

When Don Me Now outgrew their smaller store in Hyde Park Village, they knew they wanted to be in a location that matched the personality of their clients: on-trend, urban, and fun. They finally settled on the Channel District as the perfect place their client could "pop, sip, and shop." "We chose Channel District because we are so passionate about the city's revival of the Downtown area. We love the culture and vibe of urban areas where you can live, work and play and feel our concept fits right into that lifestyle," says Evans. "We also hope to start a trend and other small businesses come to what we feel is the up and coming Tampa. When we got into Hyde Park Village five years ago, there was very little there and so we know what its like to be the new kid on the block and we thrive on that."
 
Don Me Now offers a wide variety of brands, and carries sizes XS - 2X. The team is constantly keeping up with the latest trends and bringing hard-to-find brands to Tampa's urban core.  "We LOVE accessories and will always bring the best trends in jewelry, hats and more," Evans said.  Some of the brands include local friends like Albisia's Jewelry, Morada Pure, Salt + Co. Candles, Conscious Coconut & more. Don Me Now is also proud to bring newer brands such as Ella + Mila, Evil Queen Candles, Perverse, Rethm, and Compartes Chocolates. For all you yoga bunnies out there, they also carry trendy activewear and shoes. 
 
In addition to clothing and accessories, Don Me Now offers the Tampa It Girl a place to stock her bar as well as her closet. They specialize in champagne, and bar accessories including stoppers, bags, Chambongs, and flavored champagne chocolates. Don Me Now offers an impressive champagne list that would rival most restaurants! With 14 sparkling wines offered ranging in Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and other sparklings, clients will be treated to a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that is like no other! 
 
Don Me Now is now located at 1211 E. Kennedy Blvd, so after you shop till you drop, grab your friends and head across the street to Cena for an award-winning Italian dinner or pop over to City Dog Cantina one of their famous burritos.
