Tampa's famous Taco Bus is now in Downtown Tampa on Fanklin Street. With their famous tacos and authentic Mexican food, this location will be a hit for those who work, live, and/or play downtown. There are also locations in Tampa at their original Taco Bus on Hillsborough Avenue where they have been visited by Man vs Food and Food Network along with the St Pete location. You may also see them at various places around town with their Taco Bus food truck.

Don't be fooled!! This location is nothing like the original. I have ordered food here three times and each time the food came out ICE COLD. The food is an unmitigated disaster and the service is worse!! Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE else!
The Downtown Tampa Taco Bus has a completely different feel from the original location, but still has the same great dishes and is much more convenient to South Tampa, Brandon, and Downtown Tampa residents. Open late - a great stop after a night out partying in SoHo or at Channelside. The inside of this Taco Bus reminds me much more of Mexican restaurants I would find out on Mission Street in San Francisco - the heart of Mexican cuisine in the United States. This Taco Bus seems to keep the crowds under control, but I have heard from many that I'm just lucky with my timing because when the crowds come they come in bulk. Viva Taco Bus.
Pros: Tasty Mexican food, open late, convenient to South Tampa and Brandon residents
Cons: Parking downtown with one-ways streets can be a little scary
