Knight Parade 2012

Join the over 100,000 people that fill the streets and bars of Ybor City for the 2012 Knight Parade. The annual event features a night parade on 7th Avenue in Ybor City put on by The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago.
For the 2012 Knight Parade, Jerry Springer has been named the Honorary Grand Marshall of the event.
Mistakenly referred to as the Gasparilla Night Parade 2012, the Sant' Yago Knight Parade lasts about 2 hours, from 7pm-9pm, and the festivities continue throughout the night in the streets of Ybor and the local businesses. 
Be sure to come early and enjoy everything that Ybor City has to offer. The Sant' Yago Knight Parade takes place during the Gasparilla season where other events such as the Gasparilla Festival, Gasparilla Extravaganza and other events take place in Tampa, Florida.
Many people think this event is called the night parade because it happens at night while the main Gasparilla parade is considered the day parade.  This is really called the Knight Parade because it is the Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago who host this event.  Also, this parade is not an official Gasparilla event but since it happens during Gasparilla season, many consider it one.
