Summer Jam 8 is going down on Saturday September 1 at Crowbar in Ybor City.
This annual music festival will showcase some of the best up and coming Florida bands as well as a performance from American singer-songwriter Dave Dondero, the guy who NPR's All Songs Considered named one of the best living songwriters alongside Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and Tom Waits.
L.A. alt-pop outfit Chasing Kings will precede Dave Dondero alongside an eclectic assortment of Florida bands including The Applebutter Express, Bluebird, Jensen Surf Co., Moon Lasso, Mouse Fire, Five Eight, The Owsley Brothers, Easter Island, The Wooly Bushmen, Rec Center, The Rosewoods, Outmode, and Not a Planet with Tampa DJ outfit thee Liquid Jesus providing music between band sets.
