The 2013 Summer of Rum Fest is coming to The Tampa Heights Waterfront in Downtown Tampa on Saturday, August 24.

Kicking off at 4 p.m. and running until 11 p.m., the Summer of Rum Fest will feature a variety of different "rum zones" inside and outside of the historical Tampa Armature Works Building, also known as the "Trolley Barn" located at 1910 Ola Ave. in Downtown Tampa.

The Armature Works building will feature a climate-controlled inside area called the Cruzan Don't Hurry Main Street which will feature a variety of "Rum Shacks" serving a variety of different rum drinks; street vendors selling island-themed merchandise; and entertainment featuring pop up street performances all throughout the day, making this easily one of the most fun and unique summer events in Tampa.

There will also be a Cruzan Mojito Lounge serving up delicious mojitos and a Daiquiri Deck located just outside Main Street serving up a variety of frozen rum drinks with one of the best views of the outdoor main stage.

Speaking of that main stage, the 2013 Summer of Rum Fest will feature live entertainment on a variety of stages throughout the Tampa Heights Waterfront.  Kick back with a delicious rum drink and enjoy a headline performance from The Landsharks as well as Johnny Cakes & The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypso, and more bands to be announced.
