Dude!  The Tampa Theatre is hosting their annual beer and wine fest this summer and taking cues from the Cohen brothers' cult classic The Big Lebowski for this year's edition.

Titled The Big Lebrewski (get it?!), the beer and wine festival will take place on Saturday, June 23 at the beautiful Tampa Theatre in Downtown Tampa.  The fest will feature a host of awesome craft breweries serving up their delectable brews as well as a screening of the Big Lebowski and much more.

Last year's beer and wine fest at the Tampa Theatre - titled The Brews Brothers - featured great beers from Tampa's own Cigar City Brewing, Chimay Brewery, Palm Breweries, Shmaltz Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Company, St. Somewhere Brewing, Swamp Head Brewery, and more.  Food was provided by local restaurants including Cafe Dufrain, Ella's Folk Art Cafe, The Refinery, and The Bricks of Ybor.

Although details are sparse, you can expect a lineup like this or even better for The Big Lebrewski at the Tampa Theatre.  We'll keep you posted as more information arises.  Still no word on if they'll be serving White Russians.  Oh, and if you go, please refrain from peeing on the rug.  It really ties the room together.

Ok, enough Big Lebowski jokes.  Saturday, June 23, The Big Lebrewski.  For more information, visit www.tampatheatre.org.
