About Westshore District
Explore Westshore District
As the most western neighborhood of Tampa, Westshore District is home to the
Westshore Plaza, the upscale
International Plaza & Bay Street, Rocky Point, and the area south of I275 along
Westshore Blvd to the Raymond James Stadium to the north on Dale Mabry Highway. The Westshore District is the entrance way to Tampa from two
major bridges, the Howard Frankland Bridge from St. Petersburg, and the Courtney
Campbell Causeway from Clearwater. Most travelers to Tampa will fly into the Tampa International Airport and stay in one of the many hotels around the airport and dine in one of the many restaurants in the Westshore District. The Raymond James Stadium is home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the stadium where the USF Bulls play. Many other events take place at the Bucs stadium such as the Outback Bowl & outdoor concerts. If you are traveling to Tampa be sure to venture south along Westshore and check out the beautiful homes & condominiums of South Tampa.
