If your best friend’s man has recently put a ring on it, then you better get to planning! And I’m not talking about her wedding day, you can leave that up to her. I’m talking about her last night of freedom and fun before her big day-- her Bachelorette Party!
And fellas, we understand that you’ll probably be ordering the hottest dancers in town to entertain y’all, but do something unique and let the dancers be a surprise at the end of the night. Take your buddy to a sports game or casino to celebrate his love of hockey, football or poker!
Let your friend's last day of freedom be something they remember for years to come by checking out these awesome spots for bachelor or bachelorette parties!
With one of the most beautiful views in Tampa, Jackson’s Bistro is a staple! Why not take cute photos in front of the Downtown Skyline on your friend's big day? My suggestion is to take your friend to Jackson’s for dinner so they have a full stomach to turn up on. Their signature dishes are a 12oz New York Strip, The Macadamia Crusted Swordfish and their Maine Lobster Roll. Plan a big dinner with all of your besties closest family and friends at Jacksons to dine right next to the party spot!
If you grab dinner at Jackson’s, the party is only steps away at American Social. Grab a table at American Social and live lavishly for the evening. American Social is a place where friends, family and business partners can relax and enjoy spending time together in a waterfront restaurant at Pointe on Harbour Island. It has quite a view of the city too! When two college friends opened the bar, they wanted it to be a place where everyone felt welcome to party and their Tampa location has become just that! As the Saturday night hot spot, this is the picture-perfect place for your bestie’s bachelor or bachelorette party.
If the bride or groom is a Tampa native, they’ll feel nostalgia as soon as they walk down the red carpet at Club Prana during their bachelor or bachelorette party. As Tampa’s only 5-story nightclub that has music that all of their friends will enjoy! On the first floor, they play top 100 and EDM hits, the second floor looks over the dancefloor, the 3rd and 4th floors are only for VIPs, so grab a table and celebrate with just their closest friends! Make sure you take them to the Nightclub so they can break out their best (or most embarrassing) dance moves and onto the rooftop to see Ybor City from above. No matter what floor they find most appealing, Club Prana has something for every party-goer!
Another popping party spot in Downtown Tampa is Franklin Manor. The Manor gets rowdy every night of the weekend, even Sundays! Make sure you reserve a table beforehand because their tables sell out every weekend. Take your friend to dance, drink and celebrate her hubby at Franklin Manor. If you get bottle service, the bottles are carried over by beautiful women in a very extravagant way. Why not celebrate in style at Franklin Manor?
If you have a friend that is into gaming, then there’s only one place they want to be on their last night of freedom-- GameTime! Located in the middle of Ybor City, this fun arcade bar offers unlimited game nights on Thursday nights, so plan accordingly. All you’ll need to pay is $10 for 5 hours of unlimited gaming, so play all the skeeball, shooting games, and giant Connect Four that your heart desires!
Speaking of games, why not take your bachelor or bachelorette buddy to a sporting event on their last night of freedom? If they aren’t drinkers or partiers, you can still do something fun with them to celebrate! Head to a Lightning Game at Amalie Arena after you eat at Hattricks for their shake n bake wings! If they’re football fans, take them to a big game at Raymond James! Baseball is more of their thing? Well, head to DTSP and take them to dinner at Bodega before the game! Whatever kind of sports fan they are, there’s somewhere in Tampa that you can take them for a celebration. Get their name up on the big screen and make it known that it’s their last night of freedom!
If your bachelor or bachelorette likes to gamble, there’s no better place to set up their final celebration of freedom than the Hard Rock Casino! My suggestion would be to start at one of their restaurants for dinner so you can gamble on a full stomach (no one needs to be hangry while playing with money!). For a fancy meal, check out Council Oak for delicious steak or seafood. If you’re looking for some unhealthy eats, The Rez Grill and the Hard Rock Cafe will suffice. Then make your way to the gambling zone for slots, table games or some old fashioned poker. Not sure what to get your friend for their wedding? Split your winnings with them at the end of the night!
Have a friend that wants a day-time party? Well, luckily in Tampa you can rent a boat or ship with a captain included for the day with Anchor Captains and Charters. You can rent anything from a MegaYacht to a Sailing Yacht or smaller sporting or fishing boat. Make sure your party is no more than 20 people big or you might have to rent two. Either way, we all love being in the water and being able to see Tampa from a new view! It’s a great option for that friend who likes to go to bed early! Catch the sunset from the water over Downtown Tampa, it’s a view that has become irreplaceable to us Tampa locals.
