Superheroes vs Villains aka AfterDarkCon sparks Downtown After Dark: Halloween in the City as one of the FIVE featured parties in Tampa's Halloween Pub Crawl. #AfterDarkCon takes place at The Franklin.
Downtown Tampa Beginning October 23rd
The Tampa Theatre will be transformed into a house of horrors when it features nine nights of scary films and ghost tours, capped off with a terror-filled Halloween night of Alfred Hitchcock classics beginning Oct. 23rd with the showing of the 2013 film “The Conjuring,” starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. Oct. 29th the theater will screen “The Exorcist” with a live discussion afterward with the film’s child star, Linda Blair. Tickets are $10 for general admission each night and $8 for Tampa Theatre members. Tickets are available at the box office or online.
Local storyteller Deborah Frethem will take to the stage at Tampa Theatre for an evening of ghost stories and paranormal tales from around the Bay area. The author of several books about local Tampa and St. Petersburg hauntings Frethem will sign copies of her books following her appearance. Her performance benefits Tampa Theatre.
Hillsborough River State Park in North Tampa Fri Oct 21st and Sat Oct 22nd 6 PM to 10 PM
Ready for a safe alternative to Trick-or-Treating? Sponsored by the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society this event includes a haunted trail, costume contests for all ages, a coloring contest, and Family Tram Ride (Tram runs Saturday Night ONLY!). Bring the whole family and enjoy refreshments, music and more as you walk the Haunted Woods for a scary, fun time. Ages 13 and up are $10 each. Ages 12 and under Free with proceeds benefitting the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society.

As All Hallow's Eve draws near, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo transforms into an eerie Halloween adventure for the whole family with their all-new Creatures of the Night experience for 2016! Friday and Saturday nights through October the Zoo stays open late offering safe Halloween-themed activities sure to have your kiddos howling at the moon. No horror or gore here, just scares and startles! Included with your Annual Zoo Membership, a ZooperPass (pay for a day, come back all year tickets), or you can buy general admission tickets on event days after 4 PM.
Channelside District Oct 7-8, 14-15, 20-22, 28-31 from 8 PM to midnight
Make plans to step into Tampa's MOST UNIQUE Haunted House aboard American Victory Ship this Halloween. Florida's only spine-chilling nautical haunted attraction opens Sep 30th and can be experienced weekends and selected weeknights only now through the 14th from 8 PM to midnight. Tickets are $25 GA and $40 VIP. No high-heels closed toe shoes are recommended for this gore tour!
District 3 Downtown Tampa Oct 28th 8 PM to 3 AM
The 13 Ugly Men Annual Halloween Party is back once again. Party for a purpose in Downtown Tampa to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Tampa Bay Chapter. Save the date for what promises to be one of the most creative Halloween parties of the season. Expect full liquor bars, spectacular sound, and lighting and plenty of fun! Advance tickets are $30 for Women and $40 for Men. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy. As an organization, they reach out to people with mental disorders and support those impacted by suicide. (A limited number of VIP Tables are available).
This kid-friendly event allows kids to join Mr. Tommy for a scare-free Halloween Party including monster hits and a jack-o-lantern full of fun! Come in costume and expected to be treated to hilarious activities, and plenty of safe Halloween fun!
Is it the Music from Halloween and spooky theater that gets your blood coursing? If so you are in for a treat this Halloween! This, the 3rd annual Halloween spooktacular show is the place to go for favorite spooky music from Broadway and Movies performed by a spectacular vocal group and jazz band! The RITZ Ybor Friday, Oct 14th at 8 PM
Bring your props and come in costume to celebrate Halloween with hundreds of Rocky Horror Picture Show fans as they take part in a sing-a-long while the movie is shadow cast by Cheap Little Punks at The Ritz in Ybor City! Returning to their Movie Roots the Ritz encourages to come as your favorite character and be part of the show! Seating in the grand ballroom is first come first serve, doors open at 7 PM. Land O' Lakes Rec Center Friday, Oct 14th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
May the force be with you! Geared towards kids ages 10 and younger the rec center's Halloween Star Wars theme and includes carnival games, candy, games, and bounce houses. The cost is $1 per person per person, family friendly costumes are suggested.
Land O' Lakes above North Tampa Saturday, Oct 29th 7 PM start
Things to know about the Caliente (Nude) Resort's crazy, sexy all out Halloween Party 2016. First, costumes are recommended, NO authentic looking S.W.A.T., Police, Fire Dept. or Security uniforms, NO weapons of any kind, real or fake and NO drugs are allowed at the party. Non-member "Daily Membership" tickets can be purchased for this event for $95 per person advance. Purchase your Halloween tickets and New year's Eve tickets now and save.
MOSI in the USF North Tampa area Sat Oct. 15th 8 PM
The All Hallows' Masquerade Party is one of Tampa's longest-standing tradition. This private, not-for-profit, event has grown through word of mouth for nearly four decades and is a "BY INVITATION ONLY" event! This year Lady Bunny, a top NYC DJ will be performing for guests at the ball! A Halloween burlesque celebration of "Things that go Bump in the Night." will take place Sunday the 16th at Tampa's one and only Honey Pot! Tickets are $10, $20 reserved, doors open at 7 PM. What kid would not enjoy this Mythbusting Experience at the Children's Museum? Halloween can be a little scary for young kids so head to the Museum to debunk scary things that go boo and feel like goo! Tickets are $15, $12.50 military/seniors, $9.50 children, and anyone under the age of 1 is free.

South Tampa Saturday, Oct 22nd from 8 PM - 3 AM
Join like-minded folks in costume and on a mission on a mission to visit every bar in the SOHO Entertainment District on Saturday, October 22nd in South Tampa. You receive a souvenir beer stein, free cover and exclusive drink specials at the area's best bars. Complete the mission and receive a FREE T-shirt! You can also win the costume contest! Riverview Saturday, Oct 22nd from 4 PM to 8 PM
Trick or Treat Street is presented by the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Hillsborough County Parks and Rec and Riverview High School to create a safe place for children of all ages to have fun while sharing in the tradition of trick or treating while meeting local businesses, churches, and local organizations. Thousands of South Shore Tampa locals will flock to get Halloween candy, play games, enjoy bounce houses, eat food and win prizes on Trick or Treat Street! There are many fun FREE activities, extended pay to play activities and food available at nominal costs. Costume contests include kids and dogs with great prizes, registration is $5. Times and age categories are 0-3 Years: 5:00 -- 4-7 Years: 5:30 -- 8-11 Years: 6:30 -- 12-15 Years: 7:00 Dog owners are encouraged to bring their fur-legged friends in costume for the Four Paws Veterinary Hospital Dog Costume Contest. Registration for pups is $10 and a donation to benefit C.A.R.E. The contest kicks off at 6:00 for all dogs! Will we see you on Trick or Treat Street in 2016?
