Forbidden Broadway | Straz Center Friday, March 10th - Sunday, March 12th in the Jaeb Theater at the Straz Center for Performing Arts

Veterans Art Exhibit: Reintegration and Resilience Friday, March 10th-the 15th FREE
Near the Straz March 6th through the 15th on Tampa's Riverwalk, you can catch an exhibit of art by veterans created in local art centers' and through local VA programs. It's free to view, and you will find great establishments along the way to relax, grab a cold drink and dine to further your experience.

2017 Florida Strawberry Festival and Concerts: Friday, March 10th Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers at 3:30 pm for $15-$20. and Elle King at 7:30 pm $20 The festival opens at 10:00 a.m.
Celebrate the end of a bountiful strawberry harvest at The Florida Strawberry Festival with agricultural exhibits, fine art, crafts and award-winning horticultural displays while also enjoying all the games, rides and attractions on the Midway. The Concert Headliner this week is Elle King.  Elle takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.  Also playing is Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin brothers at 3:30 Friday in Plant City. Festival tickets are required in addition to concert tickets, $10 adults, $5 ages 6 to 12, 5 and younger free.

Our Tampa neighbors the New York Yankees take on 727area Spring baseball rivals the Philadelphia Phillies March 10th at 1:05 pm at Spectrum Field (formerly Bright House Field) in Clearwater. Ticket prices are $14-$39.

Brews & Bites Food Truck Rally | The Sail Pavilion Friday, March 10th 6 pm
Head to The Sail Pavilion in Downtown Tampa for Waterfront Dining in Tampa as a fleet of local food trucks and live musicians set up for a beautiful sunset.  The party begins at 6 pm and is FREE to attend, food from the trucks and drinks from the Sail are additional. Tampa's Sail Pavilion is listed in Dog-Friendly Bars in Tampa | Drinking With Man's Best Friend so if you want to take your Furever friend, this is the place!

Aries Spears | Tampa Improv Comedy Club  Friday, March 10th at 8 pm and 10:30 pm and Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 and 11:00 pm in Ybor City.
A member of MAD TV, this longtime stand-up comedian's portrayals of  Bill Cosby and James Brown solidified him as a comedic star. Tickets to see Aries Spears begin at $25 and can be purchased online.
 
Nick Dipaolo | Side Splitters appears in Carrollwood Friday, March 10th at 8 pm and Saturday, March 11th at 10:30 pm
Seen on Comedy Central he also wrote for The Chris Rock Show and many other know comedians. You can catch Nick's set at 8 or 10:15 pm for $25.

The Attic presents Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra on Friday, March 10th at 7 pm.

2017 Valspar Championship (Pinellas) with Toby Keith on the greens at Innisbrook Saturday - Friday, March 10th at 6 pm, Saturday, March 11th golf at 7 am - Concert at 7 pm  
This annual NBC Sports televised PGA tournament held on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, brings defending champion Charl Schwartzel, Bubba Watson and more to the 727area. Join country star Toby Keith for a concert at the end of play on Saturday. Parking is available for purchase online. Tournament tickets range from $39-$299

The Firestone Grand Prix (Pinellas) March 10th 7 am
For this annual event in Downtown St. Petersburg streets close from Albert Whitted Airport to First Street SE, as the Verizon IndyCar series races along its twisting, turning 1.8-milelong waterfront course. Other events include Autograph sessions with drivers, Speed Zone, the IndyCar Series Fan Village, Beer Gardens, Games, Exhibits and more. The abundance of hip to luxe places to relax and dine along St. Pete's waterfront is extreme. From a craft beer experience to relaxing on the veranda at the historic Vinoy Renaissance - St. Petersburg, there are plenty of fun things to do, great restaurants to explore and more after the race. Single Day Tickets are priced at $20-$100.

Safety Harbor Seafood Festival at the Safety Harbor City Marina Friday, March 10th - Sunday, March 12th
Taste from premier food vendors from around the country as they serve seafood specialties at this three-day festival complete with arts, crafts, live entertainment, and plenty for the kiddos to do! The event is FREE to attend, food and drinks are additional, priced per vendor.

Bay Area Renaissance Festival Time Travelers Weekend in the University Area of Tampa. 
The Bay Area Renaissance Festival runs weekends Saturday, March 11th through April 2, with each weekend supporting a fun theme.  This weekend it is time-travel! Visit the village, see jousting, jugglers, mimes, and madrigals. Play human chess and so much more! Enter the Dr. Who costume contest or a steampunk costume contest. Enjoy the belly dancing contest, great food, cold brews and plenty of photo opps so be sure to take your camera!  Price is $17.95 advance, $20.95 day of for adults, $9.95 advance, $12.95 day of for ages 5-12 and it's $16.95 seniors and students. Gasparilla Music Festival 2017 runs Saturday, March 11th and Sunday, March 12th. Gates open Saturday at 11:30 am in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa
Grammy-nominated band Cage the Elephant headlines this year's event with sets by Moon Taxi, the New Mastersounds, Ryan Adams, Chronixx, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs and so many more great local bands!  Local restaurants cater the event on the veranda, the cost of food is in addition to the cost to attend the festival. Food trucks will be on hand, no kids, but you can bring your pets! 2017 Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival presents the Goo Goo Dolls Saturday, March 11th at 7 pm.
Gates to the park open at noon to 9 p.m., the Goo Goo Dolls come to the stage at 7 p.m. At the Food and Wine Festival, in addition to your entry ticket, you can purchase sample size portions of gourmet food, wine and cocktails, and enjoy the concert which does not carry an additional fee. Rough Riders 2017 St Patricks World Record Attempt Pub Crawl  Saturday, March 1tth beginning at 3 pm at Ferg's Live in beautiful Downtown Tampa

Fight For Air Climb Tampa 2017 Saturday, March 11th at 8 am. Bank of America Plaza Downtown Tampa
This unique fundraiser has racers cling the stairs from ground level to the 42nd floor of Tampa’s tallest building. Actor Tim Daly takes part in this years climb as part of his work with the American Lung Association. All entrants raise a minimum of $100 to climb.

7th Annual Family Fun Day at Rowlett Park begins at 10 am Saturday, March 11th. 
Join the City of Tampa Parks ^ Rc departments as Tampa's beloved first responders pair up with Tampa area teens representing the Teens Leading Change program for a culinary cook-off! Tampa Fossil Fest at the Florida State Fairgrounds Special Events Center takes place Saturday, March 11th beginning at 9 am.
This is Florida's largest prehistoric fossil show where you can see fossils recovered in Florida along with amazing artifacts used by the first people to inhabit our state. Sunday Bicycle Rides | The Independent Seminole Heights Sunday, March 12th at 8:30 am
Bring your bike to The Independent Bar and Cafe for a  26-mile bike ride to MacDill Air Force Base via the downtown Riverwalk, Bayshore Boulevard and the Gadsden Park Trail. Irish 31 Westshore Mall's Paddyfest Shamrock Shuffle Sunday, March 12th at 8:30 am.

2017 Florida Strawberry Festival and Concerts headlines Rascal Flatts
