Normally there seems to be a barrier between college football players and fans. It's tough to have a chance at meeting and greeting the student-athletes you see on the field every Saturday. For all the football fans out there looking for a chance that stands between being a fan and participant, get your tickets now for the USF Kick-Off Luncheon at the Marriot Waterside in Tampa.

August 15th is the date for this luncheon, the first time the Bulls have done a lunch like with both coaches and players meeting with fans about the upcoming season. From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. This event will be filled with opportunities to see much of the USF football roster, such as senior quarterback Blake Barnett and star sophomore defensive back Mike Hampton. This is a great for pictures, autographs, and a chance to chat and learn about the Bulls and their opponents (including Wisconsin and BYU at Raymond James Stadium this season)

There will be guest speakers discussing the upcoming season and other topics relating to USF Athletics. Michael Kelly, Vice President of Athletics will speak, as will Bulls head coach Charlie Strong (check out this great podcast with him from last week).

If this event peaks your green and gold fancy, get tickets as soon as possible. Individual tickets are $30. On top of an individual ticket, persons interested in enhancing their experience can purchase a table. A table for the luncheon seats eight and is just $300, with the table will including two players and coaches.

Fans of the USF Cheerleading team are in luck because the entire team will be attending this afternoon event. Other attractions will include the Junior SunDolls, performances from the pep band and photo opportunities. Also you'll be able to get an up-close look at the new Adidas jerseys for the 2019 season! The Bulls official pregame hype video for 2019 will also be premiered for the first time (hint: it'll have you ready to charge the field yourself!)

This event is not only a chance to finally get to meet some of the players and coaches of the USF Bulls, but also get some insider information on the 2019 season. And after this lunch: college football is just 15 days away! We'll see you at the Marriott Waterside, and for opening night August 30th vs. Wisconsin at Ray Jay!
