Whether you’re already in school (and 21+), want to relive your glory days, or just never had the “college experience,” hop on the party bus and celebrate the beginning of college football season at Tampa's 3rd Annual College Football Kickoff Bar Crawl with Downtown Crawlers!
Just like in college football, competition is the name of the game for this special-edition bar crawl. Show your school spirit by wearing your team’s merch or colors, and the team with the biggest turnout will win special VIP treatment! The previous two winning teams have been USF (2018) and Notre Dame (2017), so it'll be interesting to see if one of these crawl champs reclaims the throne or if a new team will rise to power.
Not a bull, knight, or gator? That’s OK! Downtown Crawlers invites all football fans and is looking forward to seeing as many team supporters and alumni groups as possible!
There will be plenty more friendly competition throughout the evening with bar games including flip cup, corn hole, and a beer pong tournament.
For this college football-themed bar crawl, Downtown Crawlers takes their games to the next level with a Mini Combine Challenge to put your speed, strength, and skill to the test. Come on, they dare you. All of the college football players do it!

The Game Plan
The College Football Kickoff Bar Crawl kicks off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 and starts at Franklin Manor in Downtown Tampa.

This drinkery may have a fancy name along with fresh, handcrafted cocktails and elevated bar food, but its outdoor space is as chill as can be and welcomes everyone to a good time. There couldn’t be a better place to kick-off this bar crawl because they even have bleacher seating!
At 4:30 p.m, head over to The Patio and enjoy another laidback locale with palm trees and string lights while sipping on refreshing local craft beer. You can also take advantage of their Saturday College Gameday specials including $4 Three Ollives and $16 buckets for Miller Light, Yuengling, Dos Equis, and Coors Light bottles.

The party moves from outside to inside 6 p.m. at Ducky's Sports Lounge where you can catch the game on one of their many, many flats-creen TVs or strike up your own game playing mini bowling! The game being shown at the Ducky's will be Miami v.s. Florida.
What college bar crawl would be complete without stopping at an Irish pub? At 7:30 p.m., have one last hurrah at Maloney's Local Irish Pub and end the night with a pint or two and a hearty dish.
They Irish say, “May the road rise up to meet you.” After Downtown Crawlers takes you back to Franklin Manor, we hope you’ll rise up to meet the road responsibly with a designated driver or Uber.
