The Indie Flea Market of Tampa Bay is held the 3rd Sunday of each month at Armature Works in Downtown Tampa. If you like flowers, candles, food, crafts, intricate jewelry or succulents, then you need to check out this one-of-a-kind monthly market!

It is held inside the event hall at Armature Works and showcases 80 different vendors each month. It gets so packed in the marketplace by noon that you might feel like a sardine! Yet if you’re in need of some hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind trinkets, this is the perfect place for you! Be sure to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail from any of Heights Public Market’s eateries after to avoid the after shop drop!

Some of my favorite vendors at the market include a veteran baker that has been selling her famous Katie's Goods cookies since the Indie Flea began! Katie O’Beirne makes cookies worth traveling and waiting in the longest line for - they're that good!

She makes cookies of all kinds such as traditional chocolate chip and sugar, as well as more eccentric cookies like red velvet, brown sugar and dark chocolate. Her molasses cookies are perfect. They have a soft middle and a chewy outer shell!

Another vendor that really stands out is Blossom and Shine, owned by environmentally-friendly jeweler Julie Dye. Julie started her journey in crafting after discovering her love of working with recyclable materials like metal, Japanese paper and resin which she now forms to create beautifully simple jewelry. Her layering pieces are all very simple and dainty, but they leave an impression on buyers all over Florida.

At the Indie Flea, I've often noticed many people purchase succulent plants to put in their homes and I've wondered where they were getting them from!

Fancy Free Nursery has the cutest little pots, tea cups and containers for their succulent plants. The owners of Fancy Free Nursery, the Wages, are a family from Tampa that loves plants. They desire to educate their customers and help them in any way they can throughout the life of the plants they sell.

Some other really cool vendors that I want to mention are DePalmaWorld, Phoenix Glass Co., Night Shift Wax Co., and Firestick Coffee Roasters. Stop by the next Indie Flea Market at Armature Works on October 20th from 11 a.m. -3 p.m. to check out all of these cool vendors and many, many more.
