What's up, G? That's G as in Gen-X, and whether you grew up in the 90s or just love the music and fashion from the decade, don't miss the 3rd annual Saved By The Ball: Tampa's #1 '90s Party! This year's party takes place Saturday, March 24th from 7 p.m. to midnight at The RITZ Ybor in Tampa's Ybor City.
Get jiggy with it on the dance floor all night long! Actual Bank Robbers will play your favorite 90s alternative, rock, and ska covers -- everything from No Doubt to Nirvana, and Green Day to Deep Blue Something. VJ Sirius will take you on a trip through the decade's biggest dance, pop, and hip-hop music videos. And Beyond Borders will perform to help you recreate all the most iconic 90s dance moves. You'll remember all the steps to the macarena and the Tootsie Roll in no time.
Tribeca Colorsalons will sponsor a costume contest as well. Get out your stylin' 90s party clothes and enter! Wear your Birkenstocks and rasta hats, your trench coats and Doc Martens, your parachute pants and moon boots, your puka-shell necklace, your Jennifer Aniston haircut, your frosted tips... you get the idea. Prizes will be awarded for the dopest costumes.
If you're on a tight budget, it's all good. Ticket to Saved By The Ball won't cost you too many dead presidents. General admission early bird tickets are on sale now for just $15. (The price will go up to $20 by the day of the event.) You can also get VIP tickets for $50 apiece, which offer you the chance to skip the line outside, access to VIP lounges, and two free drink tokens redeemable for any cocktail or beverage in the house. Of course, there will be 90s party themed drinks, too.
Relive the 1990s at Saved By The Ball: Tampa's #1 '90s Party on Saturday, March 24 at The RITZ Ybor in Tampa's Ybor City. It definitely won't be a party about nothing! Get your tickets now, and get your best 90s party costume together for a night of retro fun! I hope you have the time of your life.
