Who doesn't love a good concert? From intense rock and roll to trap and reggaeton to slow ballads, Amalie Arena has seen it all. Coming this summer, there are a number of artists who will be bringing the entertainment to Tampa Bay, including Ariana Grande, Hugh Jackman, Lionel Richie, Anuel AA, Bad Bunny, and many more!

If you're into a more musical show, Hugh Jackman's show includes a completely live orchestra, performing bangers from the popular musical The Greatest Showman. If you're looking for a more innovative spectacle, Adam Lambert and Queen will put on the show of a lifetime. Mercy Me’s Imagine Nation Tour, May 5 

Multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated, and American Music Award-winning Christian band Mercy Me comes to Tampa May 5 on their Imagine Nation Tour along with platinum-selling band Crowder GMA Dove nominee Micah Tyler.

The three-month-long tour will take place between March 7 and May 11, visiting over 30+ different cities, including Los Angeles, Portland, Orlando, Baltimore, and, of course, Tampa. The band recently just won their seventh AMA nomination. 

I Can Only Imagine is the box office-shattering film inspired by the band’s frontman Bart Millard’s real-life story MercyMe song. The film is now up for a People’s Choice Award. Tickets start at $25, and the concert starts at 7:00 p.m.

The Millenium Tour, May 11 

B2K, Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, and Bobby V in all their R&B glory are making a pit stop in Tampa for their 2019 Millenium Tour. The tour will visit over 25 cities across the US and is being produced by G-Squared Events, Omarion Worldwide, Hall of Fame Entertainment, and Blvd. Music.

The iconic R&B boys group B2K parted ways about a decade ago, but their music has transcended through the years with hits from the 2000’s like “BUMP, BUMP, BUMP," “Uh Huh” (which broke pop charts in 2001) , “What A Girl Wants,” “Why I love You,” and “Girlfriend”. If you want to time travel and blast to the past, tickets start at $49.50, and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Ariana Grande, May 28 

The princess of pop is coming to Tampa on May 28, and we couldn't be more excited! The Sweetner Tour, Ariana Grande’s fourth concert tour, is in support of her fourth and fifth studio albums Sweetner and Thank U, Next.

Brittany Spanos, a critic from Rolling Stone Magazine said “Grande’s new world tour is full of emotional drama, iconic looks, and undeniable hits.” This is definitely a must-see show. Tickets start at $31.20, and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m.

Luis Miguel, June 25 

For his 2019 North America Tour, six-time Latin Grammy winner Luis Miguel comes to Tampa on June 25 singing all of his timeless classics. The Puerto Rican-born Mexican singer has dabbled in all types of genres, including bolero, jazz, big band, mariachi, pop, and ballads, becoming one of the most successful artists in Latin America.

His amazing voice has singled him out as a true icon, having won a Latin American Music Award for his 2018 tour, which broke attendance records, for best tour of the year. The 18-date tour produced by Live Nation will start June 1 in Phoenix, AZ and end July 6 in El Paso, TX. The concert will start at 8:30 p.m., and tickets start at $36.20.

Hugh Kackman, July 5 

The Man. The Music. The Show. Is coming Tampa July 5 for an unforgettable show. Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe, and Tony Award-winning performer Hugh Jackman has the talent and skill to give you all the chills, feels, and tears.

With bangers from The Greatest Showman, Les Miserable, and more from Broadway and film, he'll be singing his heart out along with a live orchestra, making the show an unbelievable experience. The tour is produced by AEG Presents and TED-Dainty. The concert will start at 7:00 p.m., and tickets start at $29.50.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO, July 7 

Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra comes to Tampa on July 7 with their futuristic innovation Beatles-like pop classics. This event is special because acclaimed Brittish multi-instrumentalist and singer-song wrtier Dhani Harrison will appearing as the opening act as he joins the North America summer tour.

The iconic band, which was just recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has spent the last two years touring across the UK and Europe, having sold out all their shows. ELO has had more than 20 Top 40 Hits across the UK and U.S. and combines unique sounds of pop, rock, and classical, making their music unforgettable. This concert will start at 8:00 p.m., and tickets start at $45.75.

Anuel AA, July 21 

Puerto Rican trap and reggaeton icon Anuel AA comes to Tampa for his Real Hasta La Muerte Tour Part 2. The trap mogul has announced tour dates in multiple U.S. cities, including Newark, Miami, San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

His album “Real Hasta La Muerte” debuted at number 51 on the Billboard 200 and held the top spot on Top Latin Albums. The trapper is known for popularizing trap music and bringing it to the spotlight by joining forces with also Puerto Rican rapper, Ozuna, creating a smashing hit, “Brindemos,” which appeared at number 48 on Hot Latin Songs. If you’re a Latin music fan, this concert isn't one to miss. It starts at 8:00 pm, and tickets start at $59.00.

Shawn Mendes, July 27

Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara. What more could you ask for? Coming to Amalie Arena on July 27, the two will be performing their top hits. The “Shawn Mendes: The Tour,” a global arena tour that marks his third global headline tour, is in support of the release of his self-titled album.

This multi-platinum singer songwriter traveled through Europe, UK, and North America with 56 dates in his sold out 2017 tour. The Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara joins Mendes on his North America and Europe sections of the tour as there have been 16 dates added to the tour, now making stops in Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. This concert will start at 7:30 p.m., and tickets start at $25.75.

Lionel Richie, July 28

The Hello Tour comes to Tampa as American Idol judge Lionel Richie hits the stage on July 28 presenting his new album, Live From Vegas. The musical genius R&B star has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, four Grammies, MusicCares Person Of The Year in 2016, and Kennedy Center Honoree in 2017.

The star is one of two songwriters in history to have a number-one hit for nine consecutive years. The 32-city Hello tour will kick off on May 28 in Sugarland, TX and ends in St. Paul, MN on August 30. The show will start at 7:30 p.m., and tickets start at $55.75.

Queen + Adam Lambert, August 18

This unusual pairing have proved to be one of the most iconic reinventions of a band ever. The original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor have teamed up with Adam Lambert, leading on vocals.

The team first performed together in 2009 for an American Idol finale and have been putting on iconic shows for fans ever since. This action-packed show is full of crazy lighting designs, experimental set designs, and amazing visual content for a truly unforgettable show.

The band along with Adam were named Band of the Year at the 10th annual Classic Rock and Roll of Honor awards and Best Live Band of the Year in Ultimate Classic Rock’s Reader’s Poll in 2014.

The recent 20th Century Fox’s Bohemian Rhapsody topped the cinema box office in more than 35 countries, bringing excitement back into the music charts, hitting number-one in Billboard’s Artist 100 Chart. This rock and roll concert will begin at 8:00 p.m., and tickets start at $45.75.
