When your beer festival is named one of USA Today's "10 Great Beer Festivals" in the country, you're probably doing something right. This is the exact situation WaZoo 2012, Lowry Park Zoo's 17th annual beer festival and fundraiser finds itself in.
Taking place on Saturday, August 4 this year, WaZoo transforms Lowry Park Zoo into a beer and food mecca well suited for hop-lovers and foodies alike. WaZoo 2012 will feature over 250 beers and beverages from around the world, a ton of food samples from great local, restaurants, live music from local artists, and much more.
There are two ways to go about attending WaZoo 2012. The first is by purchasing a general admission ticket which will get you a small sampling mug and access to all the beers, food samples, and live entertainment located throughout Lowry Park Zoo.
If you want to go all out, upgrade and get access to the Beastly Beverage Club. This will get you into WaZoo 2012 45 minutes before everyone else AND access to the only air conditioned space at the event, the Safari Lodge, featuring its own DJ, extra food, and specialty beers.
