Best Places to Watch the Fireworks in Downtown Tampa

Light Up Tampa Bay 4th of July Channelside Celebration will take place all evening with the fireworks blasting off at 9pm.  You can see the fireworks throughout the Tampa area but some of the best places include:

Channelside Bay Plaza

Located in Downtown Tampa along the channel, the plaza will be hosting a festival with live music, food trucks and more!  You can see the fireworks over looking the water.  Arrive early and get a spot on the 2nd floor facing out towards the water.

American Victory Ship Mariners Memorial Museum

Located right near Channelside at the Port of Tampa Bay, the Victory Ship hosts an even every year for 4th of July.  This is a recommend location with a patriotic atmosphere as well.

Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises

Want to watch the fireworks from the water?  The Yacht Starship is a great place to do just that!  Just make sure you get your ticket in advance because their dinner cruises sell out every year.

Pirate Water Taxi

Another option for watching the 4ht of July fireworks in Tampa is aboard the Pirate Water Taxi.  A family friendly water experience that is perfect for viewing from the water.

Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park

Located along the water by the Amalie Arena, the park will be featuring a Red White and Blue festival during the day followed by the fireworks show.  The viewing angel may not be as good as Channelside but the open air park may have more space to spread out.
